October Update - Monks, Uruau and some bug fixes

Hello Adventurers!

Here are the patch notes for our October update expected to release across all platforms today, October 1.

New Class - Monk

Monks are martial artists who awaken their body’s inner power through rigorous training and a focused mind. Unburdened by armor, they weave through battle with swift strikes and fluid footwork, turning aside blows and leaving enemies reeling.

Monk Subclass - Way of the Open Hand

Warriors of the Open Hand devote themselves to the body’s capacity to strike, endure and recover, refining unarmed combat into a lifelong discipline. A flurry of blows sends an opponent sprawling or drives them backward, leaving the warrior free to slip past before they can strike back. The same command of their inner energy mends their wounds and keeps their feet moving. Every palm strike and measured step reveals a craft practiced until it becomes instinct.

Monk Subclass - Way of the Red Mask

Warriors of the Red Mask practice martial arts as theater, shaping breath and movement into a presence that commands attention. A sharp cry from behind the mask strikes fear into their foes, while a dance of feints draws the eye and breaks the rhythm of an enemy’s guard. In battle or before an audience, their faces always stay hidden - facial expressions replaced with a brutal rhythm of movement and blows.

Bugs & Fixes:

• Updates for some UI elements
• Achievements statistics determination fixed
• Channel Divinity: Divine Spark: damage now grows with level the same way as healing
• Sacred Flame: damage now scales with level
• Mind Sliver: damage now scales with level
• Fire Bolt: damage now scales with level
  

What to look forward to for future patches

As always, we continue working on further improving the game. However, we won't be releasing a ton of new content this month, instead focusing on addressing a number of long-standing issues in order to polish and improve the overall gameplay experience. Of course, we do have a lot of new and exciting things still in the oven, but they'll have to wait for some more time before getting released, so stay tuned.
